Quit.org.au is Recruiting for a Consumer Advisory Group
Do you know someone with lived experience of smoking or vaping, who would be interested in helping shape the future of quit.org.au as a member of a new National Cessation Platform (NCP) Consumer Advisory Group?
The Consumer Advisory Group will provide valuable input to help ensure the quit.org.au platform and services are informed by lived experience. It will comprise people who may have attempted to quit, or have successfully quit, and who care about supporting others on their quitting journey. 
The team at Quit.org.au are looking for individuals who are 18 years or older, willing to share their thoughts or experience within a supportive setting, and able to commit to one hour of preparatory reading and a one-hour meeting every three months. No previous experience as a consumer representative is required to apply.
In return for their time, advisory group members will be paid a small amount as a token of appreciation, and will receive training and support, along with the opportunity to contribute to a major national health initiative.
