Melbourne North Group Meeting: Laser-Assisted New Attachment Procedure (LANAP)

LECTURE: Is scratching teeth all there is? Laser-Assisted New Attachment Procedure (LANAP)

Clinical periodontics has remained largely unchanged over the past few decades. Laser procedures have been viewed with suspicion and skepticism. The presentation will look at lasers in periodontics, and how NdYAG laser can have considerable clinical benefits, both biologically and for patient management. During COVID, a practice audit was completed of peri-implantitis cases treated with this technique and results will be presented.
