Dr Nova Gibson
Nova graduated from the University of Melbourne in Dentistry and Medicine with honours and trained in the Victorian Oral and Maxillofacial training program, gaining fellowship in 2007 plus fellowship in Dental Surgery, Royal College of Surgeons, England.
She spent eight years training in the Victorian Oral and Maxillofacial surgical training program at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, the Royal Children’s Hospital, Monash Hospital, the Austin and Alfred Hospital, along with five years training in the UK, including the prestigious John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford as a fellow.
Since completing training, Nova’s career has included working at the Austin Hospital, Monash Health as well as private practice. Nova is also the supervisor of training for Oral and Maxillofacial surgeons at Austin Health. Her areas of interest include dental alveolar surgery, complex dental implantation, orthognathic surgery, oral pathology and complex dental extractions.
